HIREvents Job Fairs are the premier recruitment events in Northern California --connecting
the region's top employers with hundreds of active jobseekers. Even employers with modest hiring needs are pleasantly surprised at how productive and cost-effective 'a day at the fair' can be.
A History of Excellence
HIREvents, a division of Job Journal, began producing some of the Golden State's best recruitment events back in June '92, when we connected 52 Sacramento-area employers with over 8,000 jobseekers. Since then, we've produced
hundreds of events throughout Northern California, from smaller markets such as Stockton & Modesto to larger ones including Sacramento, San Francisco
and San Jose. While many event producers have come and gone in that time, HIREvents has built a solid reputation as well as a growing list of satisfied clients.
A Three-Pronged Recruitment Campaign
Choose from three packages with different rates & amenities and tailor your participation to your recruiting needs and budget. Regardless of the package you select, you'll
receive the benefit of three unique services working in concert before, during and after the event to give you weeks of exposure so you can connect with interested, active applicants. This three-pronged approach includes:
Display advertising in Northern California's award-winning
recruitment publication. Use your ad to promote your participation
in the event and promote your open positions to drive more traffic
to your exhibit area.
HIREvents Job Fair
A tradeshow exhibit space with six-foot skirted table & chairs, a listing
in the Exhibitor Guide (which is given to every attendee), company sign, name
tags, and lunch in a private hospitality area. Electrical connection, customized signage, additional tables, chairs and lunches are available at a nominal cost.
Post Your Open Positions
Online advertising, included in your package, helps promote your specific openings. Your job postings will remain online until filled, at no additional charge.
A Full-Service Experience
Every event is produced by an experienced team whose highest priority is making your recruitment experience as productive and pleasant as possible.
Help Before the Event
We help you prepare for your job fair with information on the event and how you can get the most from it. We also promote your participation and your job openings
We staff every job fair with experienced event coordinators who help you get the most from your day. The little touches, like refilling your water glass while you're busy with jobseekers, are what set us apart. How can we help you? Just ask.
We take good care of jobseekers as well, resulting in a large number of well-prepared candidates to recruit from. Each event features:
Resume Evaluations -- free one-on-one meetings with resume experts enable jobseekers to receive tips on enhancing their resume.
Exhibitors Guides -- event programs featuring contact information on every exhibitor, CareerTalk schedule, and more
The Difference is in the Details
We carefully plan our job fairs to ensure you receive the highest quality recruiting experience possible. For each event, a variety of factors are studied to help develop its focus and marketing direction, including regional demographics, hiring patterns, promotional options, even the time of year. The result is a job fair schedule that maximizes resources while offering a wide variety of recruitment options throughout the year.
In selecting facilities, we take into account such factors as accessibility, atmosphere, signage and transportation, ensuring the convenience and comfort for both employers and jobseekers.
You can expect a steady turnout of talent thanks to an extensive marketing campaign targeting both active and passive jobseekers. We promote every job fair with:
An aggressive public relations campaign
focusing pre-event coverage on Internet, print
and broadcast media, including NBC, ABC,
FOX and Telemundo Television.
30 days of exposure on
JobJournal.com, which attracts over 300,000 page views per
Posters and flyers sent to over
300 career centers on campuses
and in communities throughout
Northern California targeting
minorities, the disabled,
women, students & grads,
veterans and military personnel.
- Postings on over 40 websites such as
